The N Scale of model trains came out of Germany in the mid
20th century. The N Scale has
a measurement of 9mm and is second in popularity to that of HO scale model
railroading. The 1:148 ratio of the N scale also model
railroaders with smaller home sizes to be able to have the same enjoyment in
the model railroading hobby as the larger scales. This modeling scale in the railroad
hobby is very popular because of the reduced space needed to do the same amount
of layout in HO scale.
The model railroading scale is great for beginners because
they can get started faster on their layout.
This scale does require skill to create, keep and setting up the
layout. The fortunate thing about this
scale is that the same expertise and experience needed to set it up in not
needed as if one was setting up a larger model railroading scale.
